Application

Zipper Reciprocation Tester is used to calculate how much resistance a zipper (slide fastener) has towards reciprocation. This is tested by putting the specimen through some cyclic operations while applying both longitudinal and lateral tension.

The machine then makes the head of the zipper to go through reciprocating movement at a constant speed of 30 times per minute. The operator then sets a pre-selected count using an integral counter so that the drive can be stopped when the count is reached.

It comes with a sensor that stops the machine automatically before the zipper breaks. The machine can also have an adjustable stroke of 40 ~ 100mm if requested.
